The Railway Tavern has been in the same family for over 40 years and is now run by Tom and Jan Dooner. The pubs friendly, family atmosphere attracts an eclectic mix of customers. Home-cooked food is served at lunchtime Monday to Friday, and from 5.30pm to 8.00pm Monday to Thursday. There is live music on the last Saturday of each month and regular Karaoke on Friday and Sunday evenings. The Railway Tavern has a 9 bedroom all en-suite hotel offering full English Breakfast and home cooked food throughout the day. The Railway can accommodate private functions in its lovely conservatory, which adjoins the main bar area and garden. There are ample parking facilities.
